More space coming for Livingston Parish animal shelter
LIVINGSTON - Today, animal shelter officials presented a new plan for the shelter to the Livingston Parish council. Last year the shelter became a "no kill" shelter, but the expenses added up.
The shelter was soon overcrowded, that is why officials are adding on to the current space.
The new square footage will add more kennels.
