This afternoon will be another hot one with highs in the lower 90's. An upper level low and weak disturbance will fire off more scattered storms this afternoon. These storms could be strong to severe with gusty winds, heavy rain, and frequent lightning.
As we make our Friday commute home expect highs in the mid to upper 80's with scattered storms.
Early into the evening, showers will dissipate and give way to mostly cloudy skies with lows in the mid 70's. However, showers could make their way back into the viewing area by early morning.
