BAYOU CORNE- The trouble continues around a sinkhole in Assumption Parish.

First, dangerous gas was discovered in the area Monday. Then, more shaking overnight Tuesday into Wednesday morning.

Leaders reported that seismic activity increased. Experts aren't sure of the cause.

The sinkhole developed over the summer. Hydrogen sulfide was discovered in a vent well earlier this week.
