More people pay up after News 2 investigation
SORRENTO- More people have paid overdue utility payments since a WBRZ News 2 investigation into why people were not paying, yet still receiving services such as water and trash collection.
Around $1,000 has been collected in a week but somewhere around $10,000 is still owed.
A town council member, Patti Poche, was on the delinquent list. She has paid all but $400.
City leaders had said they were going to look into taking criminal action against the people who refused to pay and were still being serviced.
