More nail traps found on Central roads
CENTRAL - Drivers in Central spotted more spiked traps in their city's roads Friday, waiting for someone to drive over them and lose a tire.
People in Central posted pictures on social media of more nails found welded into caltrops and scattered on Arnold Road near Watson.
The spikes have been showing up for more than a month in the Central area. The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office said they're investigating 17 cases of tires popped or ruined by the nails.
A $2,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the person or people behind these spikes, and the sheriff's office asked anyone with tire damage from these spikes to call (225) 389-5061 and report it.
