More arrests after gun brought to school
BATON ROUGE - More arrests Thursday after a gun was brought onto Tara High School's campus this week.
Deputies have arrested 17-year-old, Calen Billingsley, an 18-year-old eleventh grader, Cody D'Merca East, an unnamed 16-year-old male, and a warrant has been issued for an unidentified 16-year old female who allegedly tried to sell the weapon on campus.
Deputies said Cody D'Merca East, left the school with the unloaded 9mm. He is the younger brother of the 20-year-old, Compton East, that was arrested Wednesday following the gun being discovered.
All will face charges of bringing the weapon onto a school's campus.
