BATON ROUGE - A popular Christmas lights display in West Baton Rouge has announced the display will be closed Monday night due to inclement weather.

Organizers of Port Allen-based Reflections of the Season made the call early Monday afternoon as rain continued to roll through West Baton Rouge. The walk or drive-through Christmas lights display has been open to the public since Dec. 3 at the West Baton Rouge Conference Center.

At the time of the cancellation announcement, officials in West Baton Rouge did not release plans for opening the display for the rest of the week. Rain is expected to be part of the forecast every day this holiday week with the highest rain chance percentages front-loaded toward the earliest days of the week, according to the News 2 Weather Team. Expect updates on WBRZ.com should further plans be announced.

The event will run through Dec. 24. You can learn more about Reflections of the Season on the West Baton Rouge Convention & Visitors Bureau website.
