BATON ROUGE- An early morning fire at a vacant house has been ruled as arson.

A report of a fire in the 5000 block of St. Katherine Street came in at 2:16 a.m. At the scene, firefighters found the vacant home engulfed in flames. 

According to a release, the house is considered to be a total loss.
