Michael Jackson's father has a court date in May before a Los Angeles Judge to determine if he should receive a monthly allowance of more than $15,000 from the pop star's estate. Joe Jackson sought a stipend in November, saying he has very little monthly income. He was omitted from Michael's will and trust, which benefits the singer's mother, three children and some charities. Michael Jackson's relationship with his father was often described as strained. The pop-star died last summer.
