The stationary front is still sitting along the Louisiana Coast and it stretches eastward to the Carolinas. Showers and storms will develop along the front with the heating of the day and the sea breeze. Together, they will move inland and give the Baton Rouge area isolated showers and storms this afternoon. Otherwise, we will have a mix of sun and clouds with highs around 90.
Some rain and storms will linger into the evening hours before they dissipate by 10 PM. Then we will have mostly cloudy skies overnight with lows in the lower 70s.
