Mission of the Sacred Heart to give out Livingston disaster supplies

LIVINGSTON - A Livingston parish food, drink and supply relief distribution point is to be set up at the Mission of the Sacred Heart in Livingston on Friday.

The distribution point is expected to open at 1:30 p.m. at 29589 S. Poplar St. in Livingston.

Supplies will be distributed until the 11 gathered pallets of food are given out on a first come first serve basis.

Residents in need of supplies are instructed to lineup in their vehicles on Ohio Street facing east toward Highway 63. The distribution line will best be accessed from South Range Road which is west of Sacred Heart.

The distribution point will be fully staffed by St. Margaret parishioners to relieve those struggling in the communities of Livingston and Denham Springs.
