Missing person identified after Whiskey Bay boat crash
IBERVILLE PARISH - A person reported missing has been recovered and identified after a boat crash on the Whiskey Bay boat landing Thursday afternoon.
The victim's name is 30-year-old Justin Viator. According to Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, Viator and his father were having motor trouble when the boat got stuck on a bridge pylon and ejected both of them from the boat.
Wildlife agents say both of the men were not wearing life vests.
