Missing boater's body found in Ouachita River
MONROE - Wildlife agents say the body of a missing boater on the Ouachita River has been found.
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries says the body of Charles Trascher, 64, of Monroe, was found on the Ouachita River in Ouachita Parish Saturday morning.
His family reported him missing on Sept. 20 when he did not return home from a fishing trip.
Authorities found Trascher's 17-foot aluminum vessel in the Ouachita River near West Monroe later that day.
Trascher's body was found without a lifejacket about one mile south from where his vessel was found.
