Missing 82-year-old man from Prairieville found late Monday night
UPDATE: Virgil Chamness has been located safe and unharmed, according to the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office. He was located on Airline Highway near the Baton Rouge Parish line.
ASCENSION – The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing 82-year-old man.
Virgil Chamness was reported missing from his Prairieville home Monday afternoon.
Chamness is 6' tall, 115 pounds and suffers from Alzheimer's and a heart condition.
According to the sheriff's office, Chamness may be driving a white 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood, bearing license plate number ZLH662.
Chamness has his black and tan dog, Lucy, with him.
