Missing 7-year-old girl found safe by police
PATTERSON - Louisiana State Police issued a Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory Friday on behalf of the Patterson Police Department as a 7-year-old child was reported missing Thursday.
State Police issued an alert at around 6:30 p.m. Friday reporting the girl had been found safe and in good condition by police.
State Police said she was last seen wearing her Hattie Watts Elementary School uniform with khaki shorts and a blue shirt. They said she was also wearing pink tennis shoes and carrying a pink book sack with a flower pattern.
Louisiana State Police and the Patterson Police Department thanked the public for their assistance in locating the girl.
