HOUMA - A Mississippi man was arrested after Louisiana State Police said he sent nude photos of himself to an investigator posing as a child on the Internet.

Authorities arrested William Britt, 53, of Brandon, Miss. on Tuesday and extradited him to Terrebonne Parish on charges of computer-aided solicitation of a minor and indecent behavior with a juvenile.

The arrest came as part of the "Operation Child Watch" initiative at the LSP's troop in Houma. Investigators said during one operation Britt engaged in sexually-explicit communication and sent nude photos to an officer pretending to be a 14-year-old girl.

Britt is being held at the Terrebonne Parish jail on a $10,000 bond.
