A Baton Rouge agency will get $60 million worth of tax credits.
The East Baton Rouge Community Development Entity, part of the East Baton Rouge Redevelopment Authority, got the credits through the New Markets Tax Credit Program administered by the U.S. Treasury Department.
Mayor-President Kip Holden and Walter Monsour, President and CEO of the East Baton Rouge Redevelopment Authority, will meet at 11 a.m. to announce how the money will be spent.
