Tiger head coach Les Miles says he's expecting the Calvary to come charging back in their Saturday game against Ole Miss. The Tigers are looking to get three starters back on offense, including quarterback Jordan Jefferson who missed last weeks game with an ankle sprain.
Quarterback Jordan Jefferson has practiced this week and Miles is hopeful his starter will be ready to roll Saturday afternoon. The Tiger offense struggled in his absence last week against Louisiana Tech.
Joining Jefferson in the ranks of returning to practice are tight end Richard Dickson and center T-Bob Hebert.
"Jefferson practiced the entire practice as well as T-Bob (Hebert) and the others. With health coming back, there was a nice feel at practice today," Coach Miles told reporters following Wednesdays practice.
"Unless there is a setback, I expect him to start," Miles said of Jefferson.
LSU will take on Ole Miss at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday in Oxford, a place where the Tigers have won four straight games over the Rebels.
