Miles, Cameron reunite as coaches at LSU
BATON ROUGE - Head LSU football coach Les Miles introduced Cam Cameron as the team's new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach today.
Cameron said today that getting the chance to represent LSU as a coach was an honor. He said his style of football matches LSU's physical and tough offense.
Cameron spent the past five years with the Baltimore Ravens, and before that coached some of the NFL's top players including Drew Brees, Phillip Rivers and LaDainian Tomlinson.
Miles also announced changes to the rest of his coaching staff. Greg Studrawa, who's been offensive coordinator for the last two seasons, will focus on the offensive line. Steve Kragthorpe, the former quarterback coach, will take an administrative job on the football staff.
Miles said today he didn't anticipate another other changes to his coaching staff.
Miles and Cameron previously worked together on Michigan's coaching staff from 1987-93. Cameron spent 15 years coaching at the college level and 14 in the NFL, including five years as head coach at Indiana and one season as head coach of the Miami Dolphins.
