A weak area of high pressure that has been influencing our weather since Friday is slowly starting to fade northeastward. It should provide just enough subsiding air today for us to find partly sunny skies and a mild high temperature in the mid-70s. A low pressure system in the Gulf of Mexico is beginning to advance toward our region and thus high clouds will increase today with the deck lowering and thickening overnight. A spotty shower could develop as early as the pre-dawn hours of Tuesday. Clouds will hold temperatures up a touch tonight versus Monday's morning low-look for mid to upper 50s.
