Michael Ellerbe Legacy Suit Drive
BATON ROUGE- The 8th Annual National Suit Drive is underway. The Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections is partnering with Men's Wearhouse and Refined by Fire Ministries to help recently-released offenders find a job.
Men's Wearhouse locations throughout the state are accepting donations of gently used and clean items such as: suits, dress shirts, jackets, dress skirts, outerwear, ties, belts, and shoes.
Having a professional look can go a long way when it comes to applying for a job. The annual effort aims to assist people who may not have access to basic amenities like a washing machine and dryer.
