Mexico pulls out of Miss Universe
MEXICO CITY - Mexico pulled out of the Miss Universe Pageant, owned by Donald Trump, for what he said about Mexican immigrants to the U.S.
Mexico's national pageant director, Lupita Jones, says she was offended and outraged by what Trump said and says she believes Trump is "harming the organization."
Trump called Mexican immigrants "rapists" and "drug dealers" during his announcement he's running for president.
Mexico's move comes a day after NBC Universal said it would not air the Miss USA Pageant, also owned by Trump. Univision, A Spanish language network also said it would not show the Miss USA Pageant because of Trump's remarks.
