Metro Council to talk about neighborhood buyout again
BATON ROUGE- City leaders will discuss a possible buyout for people who live near a wastewater plant in the northern part of Baton Rouge Wednesday.
People in University Heights, a neighborhood near Scenic Highway, have said the plant stinks and has ruined their quality of life.
The Baton Rouge Metro Council has discussed a $6 million buyout before, but it was never approved.
