Meth lab warrants turn up out-of-state meth find
WALKER - Sheriff's deputies arrested four people in Livingston Parish this week after they said they found meth and materials associated with a meth lab.
A sheriff's department spokesperson said investigators arrested Claud Kimble Jr., 23; Talandis Cotton, 22; Eugene Harrison Jr., 29; and Velise Vallery, 30, at the home in Walker.
Investigators said they originally went to the home to arrest Kimble on outstanding warrants for running a meth lab. When they arrived deputies said they found items which led them to search the rest of the home, where they found meth, steroids, scales, packaging material and cash.
Investigators also said the meth found was not made in Livingston Parish, but sent in from out of state.
Deputies said all four suspects are still in the parish jail.
