BATON ROUGE- A nasty wreck involving a truck knocked out power to a small area near downtown Baton Rouge and closed part of Highland Road.

It happened around 7:30pm at Highland Road near Terrace.

We're told the driver of the truck missed a curve, barrelled into a fence and hit a power line.  Part of Highland Road remains shutdown as power lines remain on the ground.

At least two ambulances were at the scene after the wreck occurred.  The condition of the driver or people inside the truck is unknown.
