BATON ROUGE - Police say a group is using a fake female profile on a dating website to rob men.

25-year-old David Washington has already been charged with six counts of robbery in connection to the crime. Police believe there are at least two other accomplices, including a woman.

Baton Rouge Police say the decoy would meet men on the site Nightlinechat.com, then set them up for a violent bait-and-switch instead at a Sherwood area apartment complex.

"On there they had the advertisement of stripping for the individuals," says Corporal L'Jean McNeely with Baton Rouge Police. "Once there, a group of individuals would pull a handgun out and rob them."

Police said the robbers took money, cell phones, and in a couple of cases the pants right off their victims.

News 2 reached out to Nightlinechat.com representatives, they did not respond.
