Men clad in panda suits rob English newsstand over weekend
LOUTH, England - A pair of men dressed in panda onesies carried out an armed robbery at an English convenience store over the weekend.
Lincolnshire Police said one of the men dressed as a panda wielded a handgun as the duo robbed the newsstand/convenience store in Louth on Sunday. Louth is a small town in the district of Lincolnshire located in eastern England.
Investigators said the pair forced a female employee to hand over cash from the business’ safe before they padded their way out of the store on foot at about 7:30 p.m. No injuries were reported in connection with the armed robbery.
Police asked residents who live nearby to check trash bins around the area for discarded panda suits or clothing.
