Melons tossed at cars
RENO, NEVADA- The preferred fruit to throw at cars in Reno appears to be a watermelon.
Vandals are lobbing the melons and they're causing damage. One woman reports a watermelon dented the side of her car and it was attacked again, this time busting her windshield. Angelique Ybarra says the incidents have cost her almost $1,000. Hers insn't the only car hit by watermelons.
Police say they have reports of several. Its happening in a neighborhood of northwest Reno.
