The feds admit they set up a sting to catch politicians abusing their office. It comes in their response to claims by the mayor of New Roads he was targeted because he’s black.
Tommy Nelson was indicted last month on racketeering charges. He’s accused of taking bribes to promote a trash can cleaning system. Three other politicians were also indicted.
