SPRINGFIELD- The mayor and police chief of a small Louisiana town are scheduled to be in court today, for allegedly using their positions of power for personal gain.

Springfield's Mayor Charles Martin and Police chief James Jones are accused of hiding a woman's DWI and reducing the charges to reckless operation.
