May 3 is latest trial date in Klan killing
The latest trial date for the man charged with second-degree murder in the death of a would-be Ku Klux Klan recruit is May 3, according to the district attorney's office in St. Tammany Parish.
Raymond Foster of Washington Parish is the suspect in the November 2008 shooting death of Cynthia Lynch of Oklahoma.
Authorities said Lynch was recruited by way of the Internet to join a Ku Klux Klan group in southeastern Louisiana.
She was shot to death in rural St. Tammany Parish and authorities believe she was killed after telling the alleged leader of the group, Foster, that she wanted to leave an initiation ritual at a remote camp site.
