Mary Landrieu's son arrested on child cruelty charges
BATON ROUGE - Frank "Connor" Snellings, the son of former U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu, has been arrested on child cruelty charges.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office says Frank "Connor" Snelling's two-year-old son was taken to the hospital with bruises on his back and face. The child's mother says the bruises weren't there before he was with his father. Snellings told investigators he didn't know where the marks came from.
This isn't Snellings first run in with the law. He was arrested on DUI and hit-and-run charges in New Orleans in 2013.
