Manziel struggles for Browns in 2nd preseason game
WASHINGTON - Hoping to establish some credibility on the field, Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel instead cast more doubts in the Browns preseason loss to the Washington Redskins on Monday night.
Manziel went 7-16 for 65 yards and a touchdown, but the touchdown pass was basically a glorified handoff to Dion Lewis and Manziel looked lost at times during the game.
Another former SEC quarterback performed just as well if not better in his limited time for the Browns, as former South Carolina quarterback Connor Shaw tossed a hail mary touchdown pass at the end of regulation before a potential game-winning 2 point conversion attempt failed, ending the game.
