Manslaughter added to suspect connected to death investigation
LIVINGSTON - Charges were upgraded for a man who was arrested previously in a death investigation here.
Deputies said Tuesday, Joseph Wilson was now facing manslaughter charges in connection with the death of Warren Smith. Smith was found dead in his house on Bloss Avenue on April 7th.
Deputies said it was determined that Smith was beaten. Investigators believe Wilson tampered with evidence. They said he also had drugs in his possession.
Wilson was already charged with drug possession and obstruction. Deputies said he lived at the house with Smith.
