BELLE ROSE - Sheriff's deputies released the name of a man wanted for terrorizing in Assumption Parish after an incident at Belle Rose business Friday.

Sheriff Mike Waguespack said 48-year-old Joseph Robertson of Morgan City went to Shelby Gaudet Contractors after having quit a few days earlier.

Investigators say Robertson asked to speak with a supervisor and told him "I got something for you come see." Then the supervisor walked to the vehicle where Robertson asked a female passenger if this is him. Investigators say Robertson said "Hold on, I got something for you", and reached under the floorboard. The supervisor feared that Robertson had a gun and ran back into the shop.

A warrant has been issued for Robertson on one count of terrorizing. Anyone with information concerning this case can contact the Criminal Investigative Division at 985-526-1627 or Communications Division at 985-369-2912.
