AMITE - Authorities in Tangipahoa Parish are on the lookout for a man accused of the misapplication of payments in the amount of $96,000.
Deputies say Pirvu Marrian, of Gonzales, neglected to pay sub-contractors and local suppliers for the items purchased to complete a construction job for a resident in Amite.
The agreement states that Marrian, who represents Sunrise Construction Inc., agrees and is bound to providing all the necessary materials and services needed to perform the work for this project.
The homeowner remained faithful to the contract and paid Sunrise Construction fee's which exceeded the amount of $200,000.
Recently the homeowner has been contacted by various businesses looking for payments, thus far in the amount of $96,000.00.
Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Marrian is urged to call the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office.
