BATON ROUGE – The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office is looking for a man wanted for the armed robbery of the Dollar General in the 16000 block of S. Harrell's Ferry Road.

Around 9:40 p.m. a man entered the store with a silver and black pistol. The manager was holding a cash drawer and attempting to place the drawer in the store's safe. The man demanded the manager give him the money from the drawer. She held out the drawer as he removed the cash.

After the man demanded more money, the manager opened the door to the store office where he took deposit money from the desk. He then fled the scene.

The man is described as being in his mid-20's or 30's, with a husky build and broad shoulders.

Anyone with information concerning this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office at 225-389-5000.
