Man sought in thefts from RV park
LIVINGSTON - Detectives asked for the public's help Thursday identifying a man seen using credit cards which were stolen from an RV park in the town of Livingston.
Sheriff's office spokesperson Lori Steele said overnight April 12 and into the 13th someone broke into a number of campers and at the park and stole cash, a wallet, a purse and several credit cards.
Deputies said the cards were later used at a Walker business, where surveillance video got a picture of a man in a hooded sweatshirt who used the cards. They said he drove off in a light-colored extended cab Chevy pickup.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office is also investigating recent thefts from a KOA campground on Vincent Road in Denham Springs. Steele said investigators weren't sure at this point if the two cases are connected.
Anyone who can identify the man in the pictures or has other information about those thefts should call the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office at (225) 686-2241 ext. 349.
