Man shot to death while sleeping with 6-year-old son
BATON ROUGE - A Baton Rouge man was shot and killed while he was sleeping in bed with his 6-year-old son, according to Baton Rouge Police Cpl. Dan Coppola.
Coppola says 35-year-old Munzer Zidan was shot in the chest and died at his home on the 1600 block of Cottondale Dr. around 1:25 a.m. Saturday morning.
Detectives believe the fatal shot was fired through Zidan's bedroom window. The motive of the shooting has not been determined, according to Coppola.
