BATON ROUGE - Police are looking for a man accused in a deadly shooting last night.

Eugene George, 31, was shot around 7 p.m. while sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot of a food mart in the 2800 block of Dougherty Drive. He died from his injuries, according to BRPD Cpl. L'Jean Mckneely.

A 31-year-old woman was also shot. She is expected to survive.

Police say the suspect fled the scene on foot and was last seen wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants.
