DALLAS - A man shopping at a Dallas Walmart accidentally pulled the trigger of his gun, injuring himself and two other shoppers.
It happened Tuesday night when 23-year-old Todd Canady reached into his pocket to get his wallet... and mistakenly pulled his trigger, firing his gun.
A bullet grazed Canady's leg before hitting the concrete.
Officers say shards of concrete hit at least one woman and her young daughter.
Police say Canady ran off when an officer tried to talk to him.
He was taken into custody after a short chase.
Police say Canady will likely be charged with injury to a child and evading arrest.
Investigators say none of the victims had life-threatening wounds.
They say Canady did have a license to carry a concealed handgun.
