Man sentenced to 25 years after no contest plea
LIVINGSTON - 51-year-old David Lee Scott was sentenced to 25 years in prison for armed robbery and selling drugs, according to the district attorney's office in Livingston Parish.
Scott pleaded no contest to the charges on April 29.
In September 2012, Walker City Police say Scott entered a Walker business and robbed three female customers at gunpoint. Witnesses say he stole a total of $35.00, a cell phone and a cell phone charger.
Police arrested Scott at his home where officers located the stolen cellphone and the shirt Scott was shown wearing in a surveillance video the day of the robbery.
Investigators said Scott had been previously arrested for selling crack cocaine in July of 2012.
