Man pleads guilty to selling teen sex online
BATON ROUGE- A 31-year-old man has been convicted of selling sex with an underage girl online.
Erick Banks pled guilty Monday.
Prosecutors said Banks enticed a 15-year-old to engage in acts of prostitution. Banks used ads on the website backpage.com to get clients for the teen.
She was involved in at least five separate encounters and made about $1800. She gave all the money to Banks.
U.S. Attorney Donald Cazayoux, Jr. told WBRZ News 2, it's the first such case in the Middle District of Louisiana.
