Man pleads guilty in 2007 fatal club shooting
A 39-year-old man will be sentenced in September after pleading guilty to manslaughter in a fatal 2007 shooting outside a Baton Rouge nightclub.
Patrick Ovide of Baton Rouge was charged with second-degree murder in the Aug. 18, 2007, shooting death of 29-year-old Randy Wilson of Baton Rouge.
Manslaughter is punishable by up to 40 years in prison.
Ovide pleaded guilty Wednesday.
