Man playing hide-and-seek with authorities on river
BRUSLY- A man, possibly naked, is apparently playing a bizarre game of hide-and-seek with authorities on the Mississippi River.
Sources tell WBRZ News 2, the U.S. Coast Guard was called after deputies in East Baton Rouge asked for help locating a missing boater earlier Tuesday. Deputies were trying to stop the man in a small boat on the river when he disappeared among a fleet of barges.
Later, Coast Guard crews spotted the man and his boat, and the man hid again.
People have noticed the crews searching, including a Coast Guard helicopter, south of the "New Bridge" in Baton Rouge.
Sources said the man was last seen on the West Baton Rouge side of the river.
