Man killed by possible hit-and-run driver
BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's deputies suspect a man was killed by a hit-and-run driver sometime overnight.
Authorities said a man was found dead in the road before sunrise at 7950 Greenweell Street. The person was not identified as of this post.
The East baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office said it is possible the man was hit by a vehicle and the driver fled. The incident is under investigation, the sheriff's office said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriffs office at 389–5000.
