Baton Rouge police say a 20-year-old man was shot and killed around 2:43 a.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of Circle K on Evangeline Street.

Gregory Van Stokes was shot by an unknown male who was last seen leaving in a white vehicle with a sunroof.

Stokes was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
