WALKER - Walker police are investigating an early morning fight that sent one man to the hospital.

According to Chief Hunter Grimes, two men were arguing at a home on the 9500 block of Florida Boulevard when they began fighting. One of the men believed he was shot and fled.

Grimes said the victim was driven to a gas station on La. 447, where he went in asking for help and claiming he'd been shot. He was taken to a local hospital, and Grimes said a doctor treated him for wounds from the fight but didn't find any gunshot wounds.

Grimes said they are investigating the fight and have not made any arrests yet.
