BAYOU VISTA - Investigators are looking to identify a man who broke into a St. Mary Parish Walmart cash register before making off with more than $1,300 in cash late last month.

Deputies responded to the reported theft in Bayou Vista on July 28. Walmart employees said a man used a tool to break into the automotive department’s register inside the store at around 8:30 p.m. He grabbed the cash that was in the register and left.
