Man in 20s faces 6th DWI
DENHAM SPRINGS - a 29-year-old faces his 6th DWI offense after State Police arrested him for causing a head-on wreck on February 1, 2014.
State Troopers arrested Lee Edward Easley today on charges of DWI, reckless operation, negligent injuring and possession of marijuana.
Investigators said Easley was driving high on narcotics back in February when he lost control and crashed head-on with another car. Both Easley and the driver of the other car were transported to the hospital with moderate to severe injuries.
A toxicology report following the head-on collision determined Easley was high on several drugs. He was booked into the Livingston Parish Jail earlier today.
